Decision 01Type

Alternative: A single display style everywhere could make the publication tiring to read.
Direction: Pair large serif titles with quiet supporting labels and a consistent reading area.
Effect: The opening gesture is expressive; the page structure provides continuity.

Decision 02Grid

Alternative: Composing each spread independently could disrupt the pace between articles.
Direction: Use six columns across the spread, shared baselines and a stable outer margin.
Effect: Text, captions and image plates can change scale without losing their relationship.

Decision 03Color

Alternative: Several accent colors would weaken the connection between cover and promotion.
Direction: Carry one vermilion field from the cover into image plates and the launch poster.
Effect: The issue remains identifiable across print formats.

One visual language.

Typography

Serif display titles, restrained labels and distinct scales for cover, article and caption.

Grid

Six columns across a spread, a common baseline and generous outer margins.

Graphic language

Paper, ink and vermilion. Simple geometric plates create pauses between text sections.
